DURAND's participation in the cannabis industry began during the Government of Canada’s 2018 consultation - Proposed Approach to the Regulation of Cannabis – in which we made a series of submissions on regulatory proposals, including: licences, permits, and authorizations, security clearances, product standards, packaging and labelling requirements, amongst others.

 

Since then, we have monitored regulations with respect to cannabis edibles, extracts and topics, as well as market opportunities. We also advise cannabis companies in IP matters.
